About Me

I believe that all children desire and deserve to feel the joy of learning. Unfortunately for many children who have learning challenges, they instead experience frustration, confusion, and self-doubt.

Since finishing my PhD in Education in 2007, I’ve been heavily involved in the education of my three children. I’ve personally experienced the journey of an atypical learner through the public school system and feel deeply called to support other children and their families through their own journey.

I have a Certificate in Educational Therapy and have also taken more than 200 hours of courses in Making Math Real*, including the Nine Lines, Four Operations, Fractions, Decimals, and Advanced Place Value, and Pre-Algebra.

I provide highly structured, multi-sensory support in math, including executive function processes, self-advocacy skill development, and consulting services for families as they journey through assessment, accommodations, IEP meetings, and remediation.

I look forward to helping your child find their own love of learning.
